At the moment we are working on a reagge band called "Tribal
Roots", with their roots on the island barbados, between north-
and south-America. They recently won the Amsterdam Popprijs by stichting
GRAP.
Also we just recorded a EP/demo cd for the band Boilersuit with
4 songs.
Sounds a bit like 'bettie serveert' and 60's bands starting with
'the'.
They played with some well known bands like Daryll-Ann, Supersub,
Green Hornet and Voicst.
Just before that we did a singer/songwriter project called 'Ponoka'
from
Rik de Gier, music journalist for the VPRO tv magazine and writer
for the
youmakemusic webpage.
A great voice and cool songs, a must-check-out!
